Dear Valued Members,
Thank you for your patience and support during these challenging times. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been carefully monitoring the spread of the virus while also keeping up with updates from Fraser Health and Canada’s public health authorities.
We have been working hard to provide a safe and healthy environment for our members, but with two confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Great West Fitness and Tennis Club, we request and advise all members to strictly adhere to the policies of the facility at any point of time. Following the policies will not just ensure your health and safety, but also helps us to keep the facility open and welcome members on a daily basis.
We have been given permission to re-open our facility, but we need to do this as safely as possible. We are bringing in newer and stricter protocols, based on the guidelines issued by Fraser Health and Canada’s public health authorities, to ensure the safety of both our staff and our members as it is our top priority.
The facility will be open to all the clients on November 26th, 2020.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Saturday: 5AM – 12PM and 1PM – 8PM
Sunday: 7AM – 12PM and 1PM – 7PM
**CLOSED FOR CLEANING 12PM - 1PM EVERYDAY**
Monday – Friday: 8AM – 12PM
Members need to WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES. Following the guidelines issued to fitness centers, we have now made it mandatory for all clients to wear a mask EVEN WHEN THEY ARE USING THE EQUIPMENT(S) AND WORKING OUT. Our staff reserves the right to ask those members to leave the facility who do not comply with the mandatory mask policy and/or social distancing policy.
Members will only be able to work-out for 1 HOUR per visit.
Towels will be available at the front desk, but there will be no lock service. Lockers will not be available for use and we will not be holding car keys.
Showers and saunas will not be available for use until further notice.
Tanning will be available to all clients starting December 01.
We will only be letting in 50 members including staff and tennis members in the facility at one time. If we do not have space available, the members will have to wait in their cars outside and the front desk will contact members based on “First Come, First Served” basis whenever there’s a spot available.
Only 2 people can be in the washroom at one time.
Our water dispensers will not be available for use. Clients can purchase water bottles/energy drinks at the front desk.
Our staff reserves the right to turn away any members who show symptoms of the virus as well as members who don’t comply with the set policies.
